Tasting Notes: Tastes like Summer! Bright, crisp & dry. Notes of strawberry, melon, honeysuckle and minerality . Perfect balance of acidity & fruit, great food friendly wine.

Food Pairings: Light salads, pastas & rice dishes, especially with seafood! We particularly love this Rose with a French picnic spread, including goats cheese, gouda, prosciutto, grapes & honey.

Carneros AVA, located in South Sonoma County, is distinctive for its relatively uniform landscape of gently rolling, sparsely wooded hills. It receives less rainfall than other areas of Sonoma County as it’s further East from the Pacific Ocean, but it does stay cool & windy with influence from San Pablo Bay (northern portion of SF Bay). Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the top grapes grown in Carneros. This Rose is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The 2022 growing season was consistent & mild until an extended heat wave beginning in late August divided the season into earlier & later picks. In both instances, we received lower yields than expected, but the fruit we received was very high quality, with strong structure and terroir-driven characteristics. This Pinot Noir Rose was fermented in a stainless steel tank before being bottled in August 2023. Our Rose is a part of our Pay it Forward series, where we donate a portion of the proceeds to an organization!
