Vinification

We don’t like to pick favorites, but if we had to then the Reynoso Vineyard would definitely be a contender. Located in the Alexander Valley in northeastern Sonoma County, we’ve been sourcing fruit from this family owned vineyard since 2005. After pressing, the wines were aged for 20 months in 30% American Oak and 70% once used French Oak. American Oak in general imparts a more obvious, strong & sweeter aromas/flavors, so we only use it on our Syrahs & Petite Sirahs. Double Gold Medal Award winner from 2021 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
